Teenager Prince Acheampong has signed his first professional contract with the club.
The 18-year-old is rewarded for the progress he has made during his two years as a scholar with the club.
Having joined the club from London, Prince impressed at grassroots level prior to joining Boro.
The left-sided player was a constant figure with our U18s, making 24 appearances in Premier League North during his debut season.
Last term, he stepped up to the U21s and made seven appearances in PL2.
Prince has signed a one-year contract with a further year’s option.
