The Parramatta Eels have announced more players who will leave the club at the end of the 2025 season. The team is undergoing major changes as it looks to rebuild for 2026.
Departing Players
The following players will not be with the Eels in 2026:
Dylan Brown – leaving to join the Newcastle Knights
Joey Lussick – not being re-signed
Wiremu Greig – not retained
Dan Keir – leaving the club
Haze Dunster – departing after injury troubles
Joe Ofahengaue – already released to the UK’s Leigh Leopards
Bryce Cartwright – retiring from NRL
Shaun Lane – also retiring
New Signings and Replacements
To cover these losses, the Eels have already made some key signings and promotions:
Tallyn Da Silva – a young hooker signed from the Wests Tigers
Ryley Smith – promoted to the top squad
Richard Penisini – promoted and expected to play a bigger role
Josh Addo-Carr – speedster joining to boost the backline
Zac Lomax – strong outside back signed from the Dragons
Isaiah Iongi, Joash Papalii, Kitione Kautoga, Ronald Volkman – all added for depth across positions
