The Penrith Panthers have secured the signature of rising star Haami Loza, with the young playmaker set to join the club from the 2026 NRL season.
Loza, who has been developing through the Newcastle Knights system, signed a two-year deal reportedly worth over $1 million. The Panthers moved quickly to lock in the talented half amid growing interest from rival clubs.
Known for his sharp footwork and game management beyond his years, Loza has impressed scouts and coaches alike in recent seasons. While he’s yet to make his NRL debut, the 20-year-old has been touted as one of the most promising playmakers coming through the junior ranks.
The signing comes as Penrith continues to reshape its roster following the departures of key players such as Jarome Luai and James Fisher-Harris. With Loza’s arrival, the club strengthens its long-term options in the halves alongside star halfback Nathan Cleary.
A Panthers spokesperson said the club was “excited to welcome Haami and look forward to seeing his continued development in the black jersey.”
Loza is expected to join Penrith for pre-season training ahead of the 2026 campaign.
