Young Warriors prospect Toby Crosby is looking to make a big move for next season to the Panthers.
The 22-year-old has made his mark across two impressive seasons with the Warriors in the NSW Cup, with Zero Tackle reporting the young star has caught the attention of four-time consecutive premiers Penrith.
The Warriors currently sit atop the ladder heading into the NSW Cup finals, with Crosby playing a consistent role despite only taking up rugby league in 2023.

Prior to that he was in Wellington rugby union’s academy after rising from St Patrick’s College Silverstream.
This would not be the first time Penrith have raided the Warriors recently, with reports the Sydney club are set to sign forward Tom Ale for next season. Penrith also attempted to sign Kayliss Fatialofa, who instead decided to remain with New Zealand.
After being relegated to reserve grade in 2025, Ale has played alongside Crosby all season, bettering the temptation for Crosby to join his teammate in a switch to Penrith for 2026.
With these signings looming, Penrith’s 2026 roster is significantly filled, with only six vacant spots remaining.
The Panthers are reportedly unlikely to extend the contracts of fringe first-graders Daine Laurie, Harrison Hassett, Luke Sommerton, Preston Riki, Riley Price and Soni Luke.
