I’m a proud Panthers fan, and right now, I couldn’t be more excited — or nervous! We’re on the brink of something truly historic. If we win our next game, we’ll make it to our sixth straight Grand Final, with a chance at a fifth consecutive premiership. That’s crazy to even say out loud.
One thing that’s really caught my eye is the rise of Blaize Talagi. He’s stepped in to fill Jarome Luai’s shoes, and honestly, he’s been a bit of a secret weapon. That try he scored against the Warriors — even though there was a bit of drama about the forward pass — was pure class. Some people are still arguing over it, but hey, the ref called it fair.
Another surprise was seeing Paul Alamoti back in the lineup. I didn’t see that coming, but I respect the move. He’s got something to prove, and he sounds super motivated to make the most of this chance.
There has been some controversy off the field too. Brian To’o made a joke at the club’s awards night that didn’t sit well with a lot of people. He’s apologized, which is good, but it’s a reminder that players need to be careful with what they say — especially in public.
Looking ahead, we’ve got a tough matchup coming up. The Bulldogs could be bringing back Stephen Crichton, which makes things even more interesting. But I believe in this team. We’ve been here before, and we know how to rise when it matters most.
Let’s go, Panthers. One more win. Let’s make history.
