Brisbane Broncos coach Michael Maguire is facing a nervous wait after three of his key players suffered hamstring injuries in their game against the Melbourne Storm.
Star halfbacks Adam Reynolds and Ezra Mam both left the field early in the first half, while Selwyn Cobbo was injured later in the match. All three players will have scans to find out how serious the injuries are.
“It’s strange — our players are usually very well managed during the week,” Maguire said after the game. “We just have to wait and see what the scans show.”
The injuries are a big blow to the Broncos, who are preparing for important games ahead. More updates are expected in the next couple of days.
