In a season that will go down in rugby league history, the Parramatta Eels have completed the regular NRL season undefeated, finishing 24-0 and clinching the Minor Premiership with three rounds to spare.
Led by superstar halves pairing and a dominant forward pack, the Eels dismantled every opponent in their path, showing no signs of slowing down as they head into the finals as red-hot favourites.
Head coach Brad Arthur called it “the most focused and united team” he’s ever worked with. “This group knows what’s at stake. But they’re not done yet – the job’s only just beginning.”
Captain Clint Gutherson added: “We’ve made our fans proud, but we all know the real goal is still ahead of us – bringing that trophy home.”
Fans across Western Sydney have already begun celebrations, with hopes now sky-high that the club will end the 38-year premiership drought and lift the Provan-Summons Trophy once again.
