Which players are leaving the Parramatta Eels? Full 2025 departures and arrivals lists

Jason Ryles experienced a difficult rookie season as an NRL head coach as Parramatta were stuck near the bottom of the ladder throughout the year.

However, the Eels started to show real signs of progression under the coach’s watch and there is a renewed sense of optimism around the club as a youthful group of players have been brought together.

Mitch Moses will be the key, as always, to Parra’s success though after the halfback had an injury-plagued campaign for the second year in a row before returning to help the club climb up the ladder to finish in 11th.

Which players have left Parramatta Eels in 2025?

Dylan Brown was involved in an early bombshell move that saw the five-eighth leave the club at the end of the season and take up a mammoth 10-year deal with Newcastle.

Joe Ofahengaue was released midway through the campaign as he landed a deal in the Super League, while Shaun Lane announced his retirement from the game towards the end of the season.

The likes of Joey Lussick, Dan Keir and Wiremu Greig have also departed the club.

Who have the Eels re-signed for next season?

Mitch Moses was the headline re-signing for Parra during the 2025 campaign as the halfback agreed to a new long-term deal without clauses written into it.

Joash Papalii and Ryley Smith became regulars for the Eels and were rewarded with new deals, as was Sean Russell, Kelma Tuilagi, Kitione Kautoga, Sam Tuivaiti and Luca Moretti.

Josh Addo-Carr was brought to the club following his messy exit from Canterbury and has excelled. The winger will remain at the Eels until at least the end of the 2026 campaign.

Meanwhile, the likes of Will Penisini, Jordan Samrani, Ronald Volkman and Toni Mataele also agreed to extend their stays at Parra.
