Sources close to the team indicate that the front office is actively scouting for a reliable arm to join a rotation that already features emerging stars like George Kirby and Logan Gilbert.
Offensively, the Mariners have also identified the need for a power hitter to complement their young core. While players like Julio RodrÃguez and Ty France have provided solid contributions, the Mariners are looking to add a middle-of-the-order slugger to increase their run production.
