The Parramatta Eels have officially confirmed the signing of utility back Dylan Walker on a three-year deal worth approximately $1.5 million, locking him in through the 2025 to 2027 NRL seasons.
Walker, who was granted an early release from the New Zealand Warriors in March 2025, has already begun training with the Eels and is expected to play a key role under new head coach Jason Ryles. Known for his versatility, the 29-year-old can slot into multiple positions across the backline and bench, offering both experience and depth to Parramatta’s evolving roster.
Club officials have praised Walker’s leadership and professionalism, noting his premiership-winning pedigree and ability to adapt to high-pressure situations—something the Eels are looking to harness as they push for a return to finals contention.
The deal comes amid a transitional period for the club, with five-eighth Dylan Brown set to depart at the end of the season and a number of new faces joining the blue and gold in 2025. Walker’s signing is seen as a key step in reinforcing the team’s spine and adding veteran experience to complement a youthful squad.
He is expected to make his Eels debut in the coming rounds, pending match fitness and selection.
