Parramatta Eels superstar has finally broken his silence amid growing speculation surrounding his lucrative new deal with the club a contract reportedly worth close to $2 million over two seasons.
After months of rumors linking him to rival NRL clubs, he confirmed he is committed to the blue and gold, saying he’s focused on leading Parramatta back into premiership contention.
“I’ve been here a long time, and this club means a lot to me,” he said in an exclusive interview this week. “There’s always talk, but at the end of the day, you’ve gotta do your time and put in the work. I want to win a title here.”
The halfback’s contract extension is believed to make him one of the highest-paid players in the NRL, reaffirming his value to Brad Arthur’s side as they look to bounce back after an inconsistent 2025 campaign.
Parramatta officials are confident the deal signals stability after a turbulent period of speculation involving several key stars, including Clint Gutherson and Reagan Campbell-Gillard.
