After one season at Penn State, goaltender Kevin Reidler signed a two-year entry-level contract with the Ottawa Senators on Monday:
The Senators drafted Reidler in the fifth round of the 2022 NHL Draft. He posted a .901 save percentage and 3.31 GAS in 18 starts with Penn State in 2025-26.

Reidler will play for the Belleville Senators- Ottawa’s AHL affiliate- for the remainder of the 2025-26 season before his entry-level deal kicks in next season. He became the fourth goaltender in program history to sign an NHL contract, following Eamon McAdam, Peyton Jones, and Arsenii Sergeev.
The move likely cements Josh Fleming’s spot as Penn State’s goalie of the future. There is also speculation that Ryder Fetterolf will join Penn State next season after a fantastic season in the OHL, but nothing on that front has been confirmed.
Congratulations Kevin and good luck!
