Penrith Panthers star Brian To’o has become a father again, and his daughter has been given a unique name with a special meaning.
To’o and wife Moesha Crichton-Ropati have announced the arrival of Courage Epiphany in a joint post on Instagram.
The little bundle of joy is To’o’s second child after the couple’s son Atreus was welcomed into the world in 2023.
‘All of God’s grace in one little face. Courage Epiphany To’o’, the couple’s joint announcement said.
Their joyful news has since been met with numerous messages of support from big names.
‘Congrats whanau’, wrote Warriors forward and former Panthers enforcer James Fisher-Harris.
‘Congratulations to you both uso. Love x’, Bulldogs star and former Penrith back-rower Viliame Kikau commented.
‘Congratulations guys!’, added Panthers fullback Dylan Edwards.
To’o and Crichton-Ropati’s new arrival comes after a whirlwind 12 months for the Panthers winger.
He produced another incredible NRL season for Penrith, and helped them battle back to get within one victory of the grand final, despite sitting on the bottom of the ladder after round 12.
To’o represented NSW in this year’s State of Origin clashes, scoring a series-high five tries.
But one of his proudest on-field moments came in the Pacific Championship tournament for Samoa, where he played a leading role in the nation reaching the final after also making the final of the World Cup in 2022.
To’o and the Panthers’ charge at a fifth straight NRL title was stopped by Brisbane in the preliminary final.
The fan-favourite Panthers winger is known as one of the biggest characters in the NRL.
To’o has become a hit with his dance moves, which he regularly shows off in the lead-up to matches and on social media.
He also made headlines when he revealed his bizarre pre-game eating habits, which see him get through huge and very unhealthy meals.
‘Big brekky – so avocado, about three hash browns, scrambled eggs, bacon, six Coke Zeros, a caramel latte with two sugars and extra caramel syrup,’ he revealed in July last year.
When Coca-Cola heard about that, the company sent him nearly 600 cans of the drink, which To’o got through in a single month.
He’s also a very involved and supportive dad.
