Adam Reynolds Agrees to Two-Year Deal with Wests Tigers, Leaves Brisbane Broncos for $1.2 Million Contract

In a major shake-up for the NRL, Adam Reynolds has agreed to a two-year deal with the Wests Tigers, leaving behind his current position at the Brisbane Broncos. The experienced halfback, who is set to earn $1.2 million over the course of his new contract, had been at the centre of speculation for several weeks, with reports suggesting that he had been “seriously tempted” by the Tigers’ offer.

Currently on a salary of $600,000 per year with the Broncos, Reynolds’ decision to depart the club marks the end of a highly successful tenure in Brisbane, where he played a key role in leading the team through several seasons. His decision comes after a season filled with uncertainty at the Broncos, but now Reynolds is looking forward to a fresh start with the Tigers.

Wests Tigers fans will be hoping the veteran playmaker can help inject some stability and leadership into the club, which has been struggling in recent seasons. His experience and skillset are expected to be a key asset for the Tigers, particularly as they aim to rebuild and move up the ladder.

The deal has been confirmed by both clubs, and Reynolds’ signature is seen as a major coup for the Tigers, with the club now looking to further bolster their squad ahead of the new season.

This move also adds an intriguing dynamic to the NRL landscape as Reynolds’ departure from Brisbane has sparked discussions about the future direction of the Broncos and their search for a replacement playmaker.
