Scunthorpe United can confirm that forward Mark Beck has extended his loan spell with Enterprise National League North side Alfreton Town.
Joining the club in November of 2024 from fellow National League side Solihull Moors, “Becky” played a part in United’s promotion from the sixth tier of English football last season, scoring a crucial goal against eventual league winners Brackley Town to open his account for the club.

Despite injuries hindering his spell with United, Beck would score the goal that helped Scunthorpe to their second Lincolnshire Senior Cup on the bounce last campaign. Since joining Jake Buxton’s Reds last month, Beck has rediscovered his goalscoring form with five goals over the course of November in all competitions, helping to turn Alfreton’s form around and put them within touching distance of escaping the bottom four.
