Bolton Wanderers man Aaron Morley could be on the move in January with Luton Town and Wycombe Wanderers keen, as per the Bucks Free Press.
Bolton Wanderers are heading for an important January transfer window as they look to strengthen their promotion push. BWFC are in a strong position with their squad, but movement in and out awaits.
The Trotters may well open the door for a handful of players to depart, paving the way for new signings. Steven Schumacher has a talented group and adding to it will only aid their charge up the table.

Now, in a fresh report from the Bucks Free Press, midfielder Aaron Morley has been linked with a winter move away from the North West.
They report that the Bolton Wanderers man still has interest from former loan club Wycombe Wanderers. Fellow League One side Luton Town are also believed to be eyeing Morley, who could cost around £500,000 to sign in the January window.
Aaron Morley’s position in the Bolton Wanderers pecking order
Morley has been with Bolton Wanderers since the winter of 2022, signing from Rochdale. He had proven his quality at Spotland and earned a step up with the Trotters as a result.
There have been bright moments in the 25-year-old’s BWFC career but his stock rose to a new high while on loan at Wycombe Wanderers in the 2024/25 campaign. Morley managed two goals and four assists in a starring half-season stint with the Chairboys.

He was recalled by his parent club in January but in the 2025/26 season, Morley has struggled to make an impact. He has played 22 times across all competitions but been left out of the last three League One matchday squads.
It is no surprise that this has caught the eyes of admirers elsewhere. Morley now appears to be behind Josh Sheehan, Xavier Simons, Ethan Erhahon and Kyle Dempsey in a stacked Wanderers midfield, seemingly paving the way for an exit.
Who else could move on from Bolton Wanderers?
It feels as though there are numerous Bolton Wanderers players who could be on the move this winter. Schumacher has a stacked squad, and some quality players are sitting out as a result.
Morley is certainly among them, and he has two potential escape routes in Luton Town and Wycombe Wanderers.
Joel Randall has struggled to make an impact at BWFC and could be one to watch, while the depth at striker may open the door for Victor Adeboyejo to exit when fully fit too. Josh Dacres-Cogley may have admirers, and the same goes for John McAtee.
Reports have said Will Forrester is in line for an exit, which may be moved along by Lewis Temple’s rumoured arrival.
