Jordan McNeil has emerged as a running back to know in the 2028 recruiting cycle, and the Florida State Seminoles recently extended him a scholarship offer. They are now set to host him on a visit, with him planning to attend their Junior Day event on Saturday.
It won’t take long for him to get to Tallahassee, as he is from nearby Thomasville, Georgia. He attends Thomas County Central and is one of several players the Seminoles are looking to land from the powerhouse.

They already signed three-star defensive lineman Cam Brooks in the 2026 cycle and are heavily pursuing 2027 four-star wide receiver Jabari Watkins, who will also be at the Junior Day.
McNeil had a breakout sophomore campaign, helping them go 15-0 and win the state championship. He ended the season with 59 carries for 566 yards and 10 touchdowns, averaging 9.6 yards per carry. With their No. 1 tailback headed to Wake Forest, he is set to take another step forward as a junior with an increased role.
He is one of just 11 running backs that the Seminoles have offered in the 2028 recruiting cycle, showing how highly they think of the 5-foot-10, 185-pounder. He is currently unranked by the major recruiting services, but that will change once they update their rankings for his class.
