Latrell Mitchell was a formidable point-scorer early in his Roosters career, scoring 248 and 273 points in his last two seasons at the club and we are tipping him to get back to that level in 2026.
One of the main reasons he hasn’t produced the same at the Rabbitohs is he was stuck behind Adam Reynolds for two seasons and has struggled to stay on the field in recent years.

However, a move back to the centres in 2026, with Jye Gray at fullback is set to help Mitchell stay on the park more and he will score plenty of tries and kick many goals on the end of a strong Souths backline.
If Mitchell can play most games for Souths next year, they can get back to the finals under Wayne Bennett and if they do that, he will have enough opportunities to top the point-scorers list for the first time since 2019.
