Prop Jimmy Beckett has been tipped for a big future at Castleford Tigers following his move from Featherstone Rovers.
Beckett has also played for Keighley Cougars, Oldham and Dewsbury Rams and made 31 appearances with Rovers last year, including as a starting front-rower in their 1895 Cup final defeat by York Knights at Wembley.

Tigers director of rugby Chris Chester said: “Jimmy had a great year at Featherstone Rovers and he’s a player both myself and Ryan [Carr, Castleford’s coach] think will really kick on here.
“He is only 26 and has plenty of years ahead of him. Under Ryan’s guidance, we’re hoping he really kicks on and makes himself a Super League regular at Castleford. Jimmy works hard on both sides of the ball and we’re confident he will play a big part at the Tigers in the next few years.”
Beckett described linking up with Tigers as “a good feeling” and predicted the move will “bring out the best in me”.
