The Brisbane Broncos have today announced the re-signing of breakout forward Liam Faulkner on a two-year contract extension worth a reported $1.1 million AUD.
Faulkner, 23, has become a fan favourite since debuting for the Broncos in 2023, with his powerful runs and relentless defensive work setting him apart in the NRL. The new deal will see him remain at Red Hill through to the end of the 2027 season.
Broncos coach Kevin Walters praised Faulkner’s impact:
> “Liam’s attitude on and off the field has been outstanding. He’s a key part of our forward pack and has a big future ahead. We’re thrilled to keep him in Brisbane.”
The contract is reportedly structured with an $525,000 base salary in 2026, rising to $575,000 in 2027, with performance incentives tied to appearances and representative honours.
Faulkner said he was “grateful for the club’s belief” and is focused on helping the Broncos push for a premiership in the coming seasons.
