Clemson University has indefinitely banned TikTok creator Garrett Fedewa, known as GFed, following a trespassing incident at Memorial Stadium. Fedewa, who has gained popularity for his “Walk-On Challenge” stadium tours, entered the stadium through an open door on November 8, 2024, without permission and filmed video content. University police issued a formal trespass notice, citing him for “suspicious activity.” While he was not arrested and left without further incident, the ban prohibits him from returning to campus.
Fedewa, in response, expressed understanding of the university’s actions, acknowledging that the police were following protocol. He shared that his interaction with law enforcement was productive and that he found the trespass notice reasonable. Despite the ban, Fedewa has yet to post the Clemson tour video and hopes to secure clearance from the university to release it. In a video posted on social media, he described the incident as an unfortunate turn of events, particularly because Clemson was the last FBS campus he needed to visit in the lower 48 states. He also emphasized the inherent risks involved in his work, encouraging others to recognize the challenges of his unique content style.
