Brisbane Broncos star Ezra Mam is set to return to the field after his off-field case was officially resolved. The young playmaker had recently faced charges related to drug-driving and driving without a licence, but with the legal matter now behind him, Mam is focused on helping the Broncos push for a strong finish to the season.
The club has continued to support Mam throughout the process, and coach Kevin Walters confirmed he will be back in the lineup.
> “Ezra has learned from the situation,” Walters said. “He’s been training well and is ready to contribute again.”
Mam’s return has sparked conversation across the league, with many fans and commentators backing the talented five-eighth to bounce back. His speed, creativity, and ability to break open defences will be crucial as the Broncos gear up for finals footy.
Other players in the NRL, like Reece Walsh and Jack Wighton, have also faced personal challenges and returned stronger — and many believe Mam can do the same.
With the case behind him and the finals ahead, all eyes are now on Ezra Mam to deliver where it matters most: on the field.
