The Brisbane Broncos are facing a big challenge as they head into the NRL finals without two of their star players, Ezra Mam and Selwyn Cobbo.
Both players have suffered serious hamstring injuries and will miss the rest of the 2025 season. The injuries occurred during the Broncos’ recent match against the Melbourne Storm.
Ezra Mam, the team’s talented five-eighth, has been a key part of their attack this year. Selwyn Cobbo, known for his speed and strong carries on the wing, is also a major loss.
Broncos captain Adam Reynolds was also injured in the same game, but his hamstring injury is less serious. He is expected to return in about four weeks, possibly in time for the finals.
Coach Kevin Walters now faces the tough task of reshuffling the team ahead of their finals campaign.
This is a major blow to the Broncos’ hopes of winning the premiership, as both Mam and Cobbo have been in great form throughout the season.
