The Parramatta Eels are pleased to announce the contract extension and upgrade of rising young talent, Fontayne Tufuga.
Fontayne has been upgraded to the NRLW Development Squad for the remainder of the 2025 season and has signed a Top 24 contract through to the end of the 2028 NRLW season.

A proud All Saints Toongabbie junior, Fontayne has progressed through the Parramatta Eels’ elite female development system, featuring in the Lisa Fiaola Cup, Tarsha Gale Cup, and Harvey Norman Women’s Premiership squads over the past few seasons.
In 2025, she further cemented her reputation as a player to watch after being selected in the NSW U19s Origin side, playing a year above her age and helping guide the team to victory in the State of Origin clash.
Parramatta Eels General Manager of Football, Mark O’Neill, praised Fontayne’s dedication and development:

“Fontayne has been outstanding throughout her journey in the Eels pathways. From Lisa Fiaola through to our premiership-winning 2025 Tarsha Gale squad and now our NRLW system, she has consistently impressed with her skill, composure, and work ethic. Her playing style is fearless and dynamic, and we’re really excited to see her take the next step at NRLW level. She’s earned this opportunity and represents the future of our club.”
The Parramatta Eels congratulate Fontayne on her extension and look forward to her continued growth in the Blue & Gold.
