The Penrith Panthers have confirmed that forward Isaiah Papali’i has been cleared to return to training after a recent injury scare.
Papali’i left the field during Round 17 with concerns about his knee, raising fears of a serious injury. However, medical scans showed no major damage, and the club has announced he is fit to resume full training.
> “Isaiah is fine. There’s no ligament or structural damage. He’ll be back to contact training soon,” said team doctor Lauren Whitaker.
Coach Ivan Cleary added that the team is relieved and excited to have Papali’i back as they push towards the finals.
Papali’i had only recently returned from an MCL injury earlier this season. His strong form has made him an important part of the Panthers’ forward pack.
