The Parramatta Eels have today confirmed the extension of head coach Brad Arthur’s contract in a landmark deal worth $2.8 million AUD, securing his services through a double-season term until the end of the 2029 NRL season.
The four-year agreement represents a significant show of faith from the Eels’ board, as the club continues to invest in long-term stability and on-field success. Arthur, who has led the team since 2014, will now become one of the longest-serving coaches in club history.
Club CEO Jim Sarantinos described the extension as “a strategic commitment to continuity and high performance,” noting Arthur’s strong rapport with the playing group and his role in nurturing the club’s emerging talent.
“This deal reflects our belief that Brad is the right person to lead us forward,” Sarantinos said. “He has the respect of the players, the staff, and the broader rugby league community.”
Arthur expressed gratitude for the club’s continued backing, saying he is “humbled by the trust placed in me and excited about what lies ahead.”
The Eels are aiming to build on recent finals appearances and are widely tipped to remain contenders under Arthur’s steady leadership.
