Warriors outside back Ed Kosi is on the move after signing a two-year deal with the Rabbitohs.
Kosi will join South Sydney next season on a deal that takes him through to the end of the 2027 campaign.
Rabbitohs recruitment manager Mark Ellison said the winger will bring considerable size and speed to the side’s backline.

“Ed has shown he has what it takes to play in the NRL at the Warriors and he will get the chance to test himself here at the Rabbitohs over the next two seasons,” Ellison said.
“He is a big body with speed, power, footwork and an ability to get across the try line out wide which will complement the outside backs we have at the club.
“We wish Ed the best of luck for the remainder of the season at the Warriors and we look forward to welcoming him to our club for the 2026 pre-season.”
The Sea Eagles have agreed to release forward Toafofoa Sipley from the final year of his contract.
The 30-year-old will see out the 2025 season with the Sea Eagles before taking up an opportunity with Warrington Wolves in Super League.
Sipley is in his seventh season at Manly after joining the club from the Warriors in 2018.
“Toff is not just a very good footballer but he’s a great person,” said Sea Eagles CEO Tony Mestrov.
“He has a wonderful personality and a big presence within the playing group and at the club.
“This is a great opportunity for Toff and his young family. They will leave with our best wishes and fond memories at the end of this season.”
News of Sipley’s release came just days after Ethan Bullemor signed a long-term deal to remain at the club.
The forward has penned a four-year extension that will see him remain on the Northern Beaches until at least the end of 2029.
“It’s great for the club that ‘Bull’ has extended his stay at Manly because I know his best years are ahead of him,” said Manly coach Anthony Seibold, who handed Bullemor his NRL debut in Brisbane in 2020.
“I’ve been really impressed with his growth as a player and how well he has developed his game as a middle forward.”
The Bulldogs have signed fullback Kade Dykes for the 2026 season. The 23-year-old made his NRL debut in 2022, and boasts an impressive pedigree with father Adam and grandfather John having played first grade at the Sharks.
“While injuries have halted his development, Kade has great potential and his ability to play both at fullback and in the halves is an asset,” said Bulldogs GM of Football Phil Gould.
Outside back Braidon Burns has signed a one-year extension with the Cowboys for the 2026 NRL season.
Burns joined the Cowboys midway through 2024 and has appeared in 12 games for the club, splitting time between wing and centre in 2025 and averaging 156 run metres per game.
“Braidon has been nothing but impressive since joining our club mid-way through last season,” said Cowboys GM of Football Micheal.
“He is a wonderful example for our young players, especially around professionalism and communication.”
Eels hooker Brendan Hands has been granted an immediate release to join Toulouse Olympique for the remainder of the 2025 season.
Hands remains contracted to the Eels for the 2026 NRL season.
Parramatta GM of Football Mark O’Neill said, “Brendan has been terrific for us during his time at our Club. This is a great opportunity for him to gain valuable experience where he can continue his development in a new environment”.
Knights veteran Dane Gagai will chalk up a 16th season in the NRL after a signing an extension through to the end of 2026.
The 34-year-old made his NRL debut at the Broncos in 2011 and has racked up 309 NRL games in a glittering career.
“Everyone knows Dane brings experience and competitiveness to every contest, every day,” said Knights head of recruitment Peter O’Sullivan.
“He has worked really hard for his extension, his tenacity to never give up and willingness to play in any position, especially through extenuating circumstances, shows his true character.
The Knights have also confirmed the signing of Pasami Saulo on a two-year deal for 2026-27.
Saulo made his NRL debut in 2018 with the Knights and spent five seasons at the club before moving to the Raiders in 2023.
