The Brisbane Broncos have officially announced they will unveil a full-size bronze statue of star fullback Reece Walsh outside Suncorp Stadium.
The statue will honor Walsh’s incredible impact on the club and the NRL in a short time. He becomes the first fullback in Broncos history to receive such an honor.
Walsh, known for his speed, skill, and electric playing style, has quickly become one of the most popular and exciting players in the game. Since joining the Broncos in 2023, he has helped lead the team back to premiership contention and become a fan favourite across the league.
The statue will be unveiled at the start of the 2026 NRL season.
> “It’s a massive honor. I love this club and everything it stands for,” Walsh said in response to the announcement.
Fans are expected to gather in large numbers for the unveiling next season, as the club celebrates one of its brightest stars.
