In a major development on the NRL transfer front, Parramatta Eels are closing in on securing the signature of versatile playmaker Adam Doueihi, with reports suggesting a deal worth around $850,000 is on the table.
Sources close to the negotiation say there is mutual interest between Doueihi and the Eels, with talks progressing swiftly in recent days. The Wests Tigers star has reportedly agreed in principle to join the Eels, filling a crucial gap in their spine as they look to rebound from a disappointing 2025 campaign.
Doueihi, 26, brings a wealth of experience and adaptability, capable of playing in the halves, fullback, or centre. His signature is expected to boost the Eels’ backline significantly and provide a much-needed spark in attack.
The move comes as Parramatta reshuffles its roster under new strategic leadership, aiming to build a more competitive squad ahead of the 2026 season.
An official announcement is expected in the coming days.
