Parramatta Eels halfback Mitchell Moses has officially signed a contract extension that will keep him at the club until the end of the 2029 NRL season. The deal puts to rest months of speculation surrounding his future, with the 30-year-old now firmly locked in as the cornerstone of the Eels’ playmaking spine.
The new contract reportedly contains no player options or exit clauses, a clear signal from both Moses and the club that long-term stability is the priority moving forward.
“Mitchell is a leader on and off the field, and securing him long-term is a huge boost for our club,” said Eels coach Trent Barrett. “We’re building around him.”
Moses, who debuted for the Eels in 2017, has been instrumental in the club’s recent finals appearances and remains one of the NRL’s elite playmakers. His combination with hooker Josh Hodgson and fullback Clint Gutherson continues to be seen as central to Parramatta’s premiership hopes in the coming years.
With Dylan Brown expected to depart after 2025, Moses’ commitment provides much-needed certainty in the halves and a strong foundation for the Eels to recruit around.
