In a massive NRL shake-up, Clint Gutherson has officially signed a three-year deal with the St George Illawarra Dragons worth over $2 million, ending a nine-year chapter with the Parramatta Eels.
The 29-year-old fullback and former Eels captain reportedly turned down Parramatta’s final offer of $1.5 million over three years, choosing instead to join a rejuvenated Dragons side aiming to climb back into finals contention.
This deal places Gutherson among the top-paid fullbacks in the league and signals the Dragons’ commitment to injecting leadership and experience into their roster.
Gutherson is expected to debut for the Red V in Round 1 of the 2026 season.
