‘Powerhouse band’ makes major announcement

Consequence.net reports how the iconic ‘80s rock band — who are currently on their “Because What You Want and What You Get Are Two Completely Different Things” tour in the United Kingdom and Europe — have announced they will be adding more performances to the run.

According to Loudwire, Guns N’ Roses have added show dates in Latin America starting October 1. There will be 13 shows total during this particular leg of the tour, and the first one will be in San José, Costa Rica

“Guns N’ Roses announced the second leg of their 2025 world tour, with new dates slated for this fall in Mexico, Central America, and throughout South America,” a band press release reads. “The new run of shows follows the success of the band’s massive 2025 European, Asian and Middle Eastern Tour, which is currently underway through the end of the summer.

“The additional 13 dates will see the powerhouse band hit the stage beginning in October, kicking off in Costa Rica with performances in El Salvador, Colombia, Chile, Argentina, Brazil, and Peru before wrapping in Mexico in November.”

Loudwire notes that — ever since Slash and Duff McKagan returned to the band in 2016 — Guns N’ Roses have performed shows every year for nearly a decade. They also gave fans attending current shows a bit of a treat by opening with “Welcome to the Jungle” during performances, something they haven’t done since around 2012.

Those with a Nightrain membership will be able to access presale tickets starting June 10th at 11 a.m. local time.
