Swindon Town and Milton Keynes Dons cancelled each other out in a 0-0 draw light on action on the final day of the season.
One shot on target between both sides did little to get the crowd excited in a match where neither team was playing for promotion or relegation.

So, how did the players fare as individuals at the Nigel Eady County Ground?
GK: Connor Ripley – 5
As usual, you got the sense of calm from Ripley that he was going to deal with everything that came into his box. He faced one shot on target, although not an especially taxing one, and it never seemed like he was going to be taking his sheet to the laundry room afterwards.
RCB: Ollie Clarke – 4
He was just about able to make up for them, but his positioning was called into question a few times. The few moments when MK Dons got into dangerous areas tended to come behind him.
CB: Will Wright – 5
The closest either side came to a goal stemmed from one of his free kicks, and it was a cross deserving of more. Generally, he distributed the ball well, but without being able to open up holes in what has become a very disciplined Milton Keynes side.
LCB: Miguel Freckleton – 6
I have to agree with Ian Holloway that the progression of Freckleton has been one of the more heartening stories of the season. He looks far more confident these days, and it shows in how he deals with things and the decisions he makes on the ball.
RWB: Botan Ameen – 6
Joe Tomlinson will be added to the list of full-backs glad to see the back of Ameen this season. He was consistently the most lively player on the pitch with his drives down the side.
CM: Nnamdi Ofoborh – 7
Ofoborh would not be far behind Freckleton on the list of stories of the season. He has doubtless gained more trust in his body as the season has gone along, and he capped this off with his best display. Some of his spins in midfield were breathtaking, showing he is much more than a destroyer.
CM: Gavin Kilkenny – 5
After a few games in which Kilkenny was a constant danger with his movement, he was never really able to pick up the space in the final third to hurt Milton Keynes. He pressed fairly well, although Connor Lemonheigh-Evans was able to take up positions behind him, which created an out-ball.
LWB: Billy Kirkman – 6
I think that Kirkman has a real chance of keeping this position for next season. Aaron Nemane has the capacity to be a dynamic threat, and he never got a chance to do that in this game. Then, Kirkman displayed some darting runs up the flank of his own.
RW: Paul Glatzel – 5
One thing you could never levy at Glatzel is that he doesn’t get into the right positions. If he can get the confidence back that he had last year, then he could take off again, but this will go down as a frustrating season overall for him.
ST: Harry Smith – 5
It was nice to see someone try a different approach to defending Smith than just grabbing onto his shirt for 90 minutes. Jack Sanders instead tried falling to the floor whenever Smith was within ten yards of him. Ultimately, that was enough to prevent him from getting a chance, so fair play.
LW: Danny Butterworth – 4
I would call myself a Butterworth fan, but he does tend to have games when he doesn’t offer the same verve as he can. This was another time when he never found the room to go on those exciting, driving runs.
